Ode to my Beautiful Hat

This is my beautiful hat. These are the link for more hats and snapbacks you might want to buy. http://www.lids.com/ and http://mitchellandness.com/

Dear precious SF Giants hat,
you protect me from harsh sunlight to blocking rain and to covering my face at night. You are my all and all. The way you do everything for me is so wonderful. I love it when you cover and cuddle around my head and fill my hair with warmth. I also love your simple but beautiful colors too.

First, I love the white shine which goes perfectly with the sunlight and mixes with pitch black signature clashing two things at once. The beautiful gold shine from your sticker enlightens all of us and is like an amulet to me. You protect me and bear everything for me. I couldn't have been more thankful.

You shove rain away and take the bearing for yourself. You withhold the sun's beating rays from my head. You are more than a hat. You are the best hat in the world who will talk in my head while taking a beating and comforting me everywhere. You show off your styles to the world at the same time.

When I walk anywhere, you show off your styles to everyone. You're pretty clean, pretty lean, and I can wear you anywhere and anytime. I can wear you sideways to look cool, backwards when I'm looking bored or fresh, and I can wear you forward to block the sun and give me shade.

To summarize you, you are the incomparable hat with very unique things. You're a hat with... personalities.

From you're hat bearer,
Eddie

  1. Sorry Mr. Garrioch!!! I couldn't do indenting because it wouldn't let me.

  2. Weird huh? Yeah I have feelings for a hat. Yup.

  3. Good job Eddie! I barely see any mistakes in this ode except for the "First," -> "Firstly," in the third paragraph. You use quite sophisticated vocabularies and the details about sunlight and signature clashing with each other is amazingly descriptive. And as you mention above in the comments I could help you with the indenting next time. Nice work! :D

  4. I love your delicate description of your hat. The way you organized your essay is also very effective in delivering your message to readers. As I was reading your essay, I felt that I cannot help buying that hat:)

  5. Remember I corrected the mistakes on paper and gave it back to you? Please make the changes. If you don't, I'm going to "buy" your hat in exchange for 10 yellow cards. Does that sound like a good deal?? : )
