What Adults Can Learn From Kids
Hey adults! Have you ever felt that your kid thinks you never support them and only punish them or that you punish them for no GOOD reason and that they want to run away because of those reasons? Well most of us do think that and that's why you should listen to me so you can understand your kids a little bit better. I'm a kid and always get yelled at when I do bad in school or just make a small mistake. I hate that because when we do something bad like get a bad grade in school, we need support to do better not punishment. I feel like I'm working for nothing but my mom's pleasure and not my own because when I make a mistake like getting a B(I'm Asian so a B is considered as a very bad thing) in a class, my mom yells at me when I know that I can fix it soon with a little bit of encouragement. I'm not saying don't punish us. I'm not saying let us be free and do whatever we want to. All I'm saying is that you adults should give us more encouragement when we make a mistake, lift us up when we fall down, and fill us up with happiness and not anger so we can be like you for the next generation and be supportive to our own children so they think we CARE.
Love is a four-letter word. Is this what your kids think you have for them? I know that you have love for them and care SO much for them but do you show it? Kids these days don't want it only from your mouth but through your actions. There are many ways that you can show love for your children and a big one is encouraging them and supporting them no matter what. When he makes a mistake, don't only scold them. Scold them a little bit but end up encouraging them and telling them, "It's okay. Just keep on trying and I will help you on the way." Tell them what they did wrong and help them because we are still kids. Kids need adults but adults still need kids.
Imagination is endless. It can bring up the most impossible and unthinkable ideas and it makes the best companies today stay at the top. But one thing that is interesting is that kids have a brain full of imagination bigger than the universe. We think of amazing things and that's when we get the unthinkable ideas and become successful later on. Think about Caine from that big hit on Youtube called Caine's Arcade. Here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faIFNkdq96U. If you don't know him, check my article on Caine on my blog. To make a long story short, Caine is a kid just like any other who had an idea to make an arcade with just everyday tools. Because of his imagination and perseverance, he became famous. Now think about your kid. Do you limit their imagination? Do you tell them that they can't be what they want to be or they can't make anything from their ideas? Why do you think kids don't have imagination? They have brains full with endless possibilities that they or others can do.
Last but not least, don't just let them do what they want. Scold them, but scold them in a way that they will not do it again. If you need to be harsh, be harsh! Just don't treat them harshly in a way that they will think that you are just blabbing about the same old thing. Teach them a moral that will stop them from doing bad things. Find the punishment that fits the situation perfectly. If you were in their shoes would you think it's fair that the punishment is too severe or too gentle? Be the parent that is nice, kind, understanding, but still scolds FAIRLY to both you and the person you are scolding.
So I hope I summed up everything that I had too. Don't limit your kids, scold them unfairly, or not support them. Give them happiness when they are down, lift them up when they fall down, and help them to climb to their goal without any bumpy steps. Show them that you are the best parent and that you care for them. Make them happy and encouraged to do anything. In conclusion, show your actions as affectionate, kind, and fair to them and you. Always remember this saying. Actions speak louder than words.

Caine's Arcade
You have probably heard about this kid from Youtube. You probably heard about this kid on Facebook. You probably learned about this kid on every social network and he is Caine, the kid who used pieces of cardboard to make an arcade. Why would people think he only got famous because of Facebook? It's true social networking is the best way of socializing these days and becoming famous but he has a good brain. I will talk about how Caine is a genius and how social networking can change a life.
Caine is only a 9-year old boy who turned his dad's shop into a massive cardboard arcade. With a few months of serious hard work, he manages to make everything in an average arcade into his own. From security systems to check if people cheated, all the way to making a claw machine, Caine has figured out how arcades work and turned them into his own way without a lot of money. He makes a great deal for people which is $1 for two turns but $2 for a fun pass which allows 500 turns. Last, he figured out how to make tickets come out like regular ones. He would go in the box of the game and put the tickets out slowly like a real arcade machine.
Many of you have Facebook. If you don't you probably have Twitter or an account on some other social network. This made him famous. When his first customer came in, the customer knew he was amazing so he decided to make a group on Facebook and tell the world about Caine's Arcade. The next day, thousands of people came to his arcade just because they saw it on Facebook. How cool is that? Today, most of the world's population have Facebook or any other social network. This improves lives, friends, and family. Just because of one post on Facebook, Caine became famous. But people think it's only because of Facebook.
Caine has the brain of a professional engineer. He can figure out how to do everything in a normal arcade with cardboard and home supplies. You should see how much perseverance this kid has. He waited days, weeks, maybe even months for a customer. But he still didn't give up waiting for customers to play. His perseverance made him famous which will be good for him in the future when he makes a business or some other job that will need perseverance. Who does that? Who waits for a horribly long amount of time just for an arcade? Most people can't do that. Facebook just gave him a boost up to success.
Now you may see how smart this kid is. A regular kid who just wanted to make an arcade becomes famous because of his smart brain, perseverance, and social networking. I taught you about his brain, Facebook, and arguments. People who think he's just as fraud and that customer made him famous are stupid. Can you do the same thing as him? Do you have that perseverance and brain to make an arcade and wait for customers all day long? What I'm trying to prove is that this kid is really smart. When he grows older I'm almost sure that he will be very successful. Facebook can change lives, but it is not as powerful as your own ideas and perseverance.

Ode to my Beautiful Hat
This is my beautiful hat. These are the link for more hats and snapbacks you might want to buy. http://www.lids.com/ and http://mitchellandness.com/.
Dear precious SF Giants hat,
you protect me from harsh sunlight to blocking rain and to covering my face at night. You are my all and all. The way you do everything for me is so wonderful. I love it when you cover and cuddle around my head and fill my hair with warmth. I also love your simple but beautiful colors too.
First, I love the white shine which goes perfectly with the sunlight and mixes with pitch black signature clashing two things at once. The beautiful gold shine from your sticker enlightens all of us and is like an amulet to me. You protect me and bear everything for me. I couldn't have been more thankful.
You shove rain away and take the bearing for yourself. You withhold the sun's beating rays from my head. You are more than a hat. You are the best hat in the world who will talk in my head while taking a beating and comforting me everywhere. You show off your styles to the world at the same time.
When I walk anywhere, you show off your styles to everyone. You're pretty clean, pretty lean, and I can wear you anywhere and anytime. I can wear you sideways to look cool, backwards when I'm looking bored or fresh, and I can wear you forward to block the sun and give me shade.
To summarize you, you are the incomparable hat with very unique things. You're a hat with... personalities.
From you're hat bearer,
Eddie

Three Things About Me
Hi everyone! These are three things about me. Remember, one of these is a lie so put the number of the paragraph about me you think is a lie in the comment section below.
1. The first thing about me is that I have a music talent. I learned guitar basics in a week and I learned tabs and chords very quickly without a teacher. I bought a beginner acoustic guitar but now I think I need a better one since the strings are for beginners. I got this talent from my mom since she is a composer, conductor, and plays the piano very well. I also can play a bit of drums from looking at people play a lot, play electric guitar a bit, and learn cello from someone.
2. The second thing about me is that my cousins are Asian. That's obvious since I'm Korean-American. It's weird that is something about me but my cousins are very nice so I thought I would put them in this post. I have two cousins. Their names are Elena and Nick or Nikky. Nikky is one year younger than me and Elena is one year older. Do you know what's unique about them? Their birthdays are like this: Nikky- 2/2/2002, Elena- 9/9/1999.
Weird right?
3. The last thing about me is that I have been to so many places. I have been to Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington D.C., South Korea, Switzerland, and I live in California. This must be overwhelming for you but I take planes a lot and are very used to them. It's always fun to visit new places and learn things you never knew.
So these three things: music, cousins, and places are about me. Did you find the lie?
